Overview
We were delighted to be awarded principal contractor on this development in Trethomas, Caerphilly, for our long standing client United Welsh.
The site had been in a paused state for some time, so we are happy to see the development complete and begin to add value to the Trethomas and wider community again.
The development consists of 25 apartments for the over 55s, which will be managed by United Welsh's specialist support services division, Thrive. The development also provides a community hub space for the local community to benefit from.
The building was to be completed as a timber frame structure and also includes low carbon heating technologies to achieve A rated EPC accreditation and dry basins, in line with a sustainable drainage solution.
