Overview
A non-residential development comprising of supported housing facilities with four residential bedrooms in each Block.
Early project aspirations included that each dwelling must contain four en-suite bedrooms, a communal lounge, kitchen and dining area and an en suite staff room/office. Also, utility/sluice provision was provided along with two assisted bathrooms with access to two bedrooms. One bathroom has a separate shower, while the other is an assisted shower room without a bath.
Sufficient storage for hoists and other equipment was also provided along with external space and parking for adapted vehicles and visitors.
The ethos of the building was to create a living environment as “homely as possible”.
