Overview
This development sits on the former Greenhill Primary School site and within a busy existing residential area, providing in total 37no. new residential dwellings for the community. These 37 homes are a mixture of houses, flats and bungalows, with all associated external and drainage works.
The construction consisted of raft foundations, precast block and beam oversite and face brick and block cavity wall construction with a mixture of face brick to the external elevations. The flats first and second floors were pre-stressed concrete beams and the roof was made up of pre-fabricated trussed rafters. The houses had a specially engineered timber web floor joist system.
The scheme provides a connected pathway to the new school site which will provide a consistent safe pathway to the school grounds, for parents and children.
