Overview
We were nominated as principal contractor for this development, to undertake the delivery of 22 residential homes, which were made up of one bedroom apartments, bungalows and specialist adapted living single storey homes.
A number of these homes were adapted specifically for an incoming residents needs. Specialist living equipment included hoists/lifts and bespoke washing/bathing facilities. This means along with a completed affordable residential development; a number of the properties have specialist extra care provisions installed, for our client's future residents.
The former hostel building required demolishing prior to construction, which also required the clearance of significant asbestos material from the demo site.
